This design was for a live client within College. She asked for a simplistic/minimilistic design with a range of good colour, that had to have the words "development" and "progress" developed into imagery. This is where the mechanical cogs come from, to represent development, and piecing together the logo also connotes progress. At first, I went for a green colour scheme due to it being my favourite colour, and besides the fact of it being a very fresh colour. I then realised that I had to keep the logo colours as they were seeing as it's a logo. If they were changed, it would no longer be noticable that it was the logo, so I then got a collection of colours that flown well with blues, and therefore came my final design.
